Key Account Manager Retail (m/w/d)

In addition, we manufacture a range of products under the Oreo, Milka and Daim brand names through exclusive licensing partnerships with Mondelēz and Disney, amongst others. We specialise in American sweet bakery in categories such as donuts, muffins and cookies, as well as regional specialties such as laminates and Danish pastries, including Franzbrötchen. Tasks may include:
- Exploration and exploitation of all customer potentials in the product areas relevant for BB incl. identification of business opportunities, potential validation, set up and execution of customer individual projects (Appian)
- Negotiation of contracts, annual agreements, prices on a national and regional level in consultation with EU colleagues (Portfolio & NPD) and in alignment with Sales Manager KA DE/AT & Finance
- In the case of support for Germany and Austria, negotiations may have to be conducted not only at national but also at international level
- Develop distribution & listings in close cooperation with internal and / or external salesforce
- Develop & implement KAM plans
- Gather & share information of relevant market trends as well as customers, competitors activities and transfer these into a first in class customer care
- Gain trust of the key account through credibility, as well as strong and lasting customer loyalty
- Business networking towards central and decentral customer head offices
- Cooperation with sales agencies
Skills required:
- Completed studies (at least Bachelor)
- Several years of experience in sales position required preferred for KA and/or Wholesaler
- Experience in the food segment is preferred, the frozen food sector is a plus
- Existing solid contacts into retail organisations, e.g. Rewe & Edeka
- Strategic & Analytical way of working with sound finance and business administration understanding
- Projectmanagement experience
- Strong negotiation & relationship building skills
- Pronounced customer & service orientation
- Well collaborating. result driven, entrepreneurial personality
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
- MS Office, SAP, BW and other specific IT tools
