Nightshift Hygiene Supervisor Admin (MATERNITY COVER)

LOCATION: Baker and Baker Products UK Ltd, Daventry NN1 8RR

SHIFT: Night Shift 21:30 to 06:30 hours, Monday to Friday

SALARY: £34-35K pa.

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Good English verbal and written communication skills with good computer skills
  • Focus on writing CICs and COSSH assessments (Essential)
  • Experience 2+ years leading a Hygiene team
  • Health & Safety focussed
  • Ability to work within a team and experience in leading a team
  • Experience in cleaning within the food manufacturing industry


RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for delivering key performance goals by maximising people, hygiene processes. Responsible for maintaining standards in line with H&S Policy, Quality Standards KPI information and updating SOPs. Supervise staff to ensure adherence to the above standards. To act as a focal point to promote continuity and consistency of all operations, policies and procedures on shift. Cross-shift communication, cooperation and feedback to the teams and other functions.

 

This position is a Maternity cover contract, for apx 1 year.

 

RESULTS AREAS

  • Audit tasks against CIC's
  • Carryout Risk Assessments and review current Risk Assessment
  • Complete daily check sheets
  • Signing of Holidays and Hours approval on T&A system
  • Stock control of consumables and chemicals
  • Assist with Job rotation and shift planning
  • Assist with disciplinary's and investigations
  • Carry out briefings
  • Tool box checks
  • Shift reports
  • COSSH assessments & ensuring they are up to date
  • Covering Handovers with production
  • Auditing cleaning standards
  • Assisting in investigating when something is out of spec.
  • Assist with cleaning to cover holidays, busy periods and general absence.
  • To demonstrate commitment to the food safety and quality culture activities at site, alongside the values of our business

Schedule:

8.5 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
No weekends
